We would like to invite you to play with our teams at SURF CUP INTERNATIONAL in Salou Spain.
Pathfinder FC is based in NY but also owns it's own club in Spain. During this trip you will join our players in Spain as well as other players we have invited. Pathfinder's itinerary combines the tournament's events and exposure to Pathfinder's facilities and programming. In Spain we have our own residences, private middle school and high school, coaches and staff. You will be invited to train with Pathfinder's teams and at Pathfinder's facilities.
At SURF CUP you will face some of the worlds top clubs including : FC Barcelona (Spain). Nastic (Spain), Mallorca (Spain), Espanyol (Spain), Villareal (Spain), Sevilla (Spain), Flamengo (Brasil), Olympique Lyon (France), Glasgow Rangers (Scotland), Girona (Spain), Valencia (Spain), Deren FC (China), Atheltic Bilbao (Spain), Levante (Spain), and PSG (France).
FLEXIBLE ITINERARY
We have created two itineraries to create flexibility for family needs. Choose a 6-Day (limit missed school days) or 10-Day Itinerary (ensure full adjustment and maximize exposure).
6-Day Itinerary
- Tuesday 11/21 - Late evening, Depart for Spain (arrive the next day)
- Wednesday 11/22 - Training and free time
- Thursday 11/23 - Opening ceremony & Opening games. Thanksgiving dinner with Pathfinder families.
- Friday 11/24 - Day 2 Competition.
- Saturday 11/25 - Day 3 Competition.
- Sunday 11/26 - Finals and free time.
- Monday 11/27 - Depart for North America (arriving the same day)
Player: $1,200 per player
Family: $950 per person
max three to a room. airfare not included.
10-Day Itinerary
- Friday 11/17 - Late evening, Depart for Spain (arrive the next day)
- Saturday 11/18 - Orientation, relax and explore Tarragona on your own
- Sunday 11/19 - Tour of Pathfinder facilities, and attend Pathfinder CF senior game.
- Monday 11/20 - Training and free time/activity
- Tuesday 11/21 - Training and free time/activity
- Wednesday 11/22 - Training and free time
- Thursday 11/23 - Opening ceremony & Opening games. Thanksgiving dinner with Pathfinder families.
- Friday 11/24 - Day 2 Competition.
- Saturday 11/25 - Day 3 Competition.
- Sunday 11/26 - Finals and free time.

We operate as a professional sports club, and our club's priorities are:
1. Promote to the next level within the Spanish Federation, and
2. in the USA Win the UPSL Premier, and

Our youth development priorities are:
1. Support the priorities of the club, while
2. Creating opportunities for players to play within the US university system, or
3. Transfer to other professional opportunities in a manner that benefits the player and Pathfinder FC.
Our program is open to players from around the world looking for pathways to the next level of the game. Pathfinder players train 5 days-a-week and compete in Spanish Federation via senior teams, U15, U17 and U19 teams. For the player looking for professional opportunity, the Spanish football market provides the highest opportunity density, with the lowest barrier to entry, for the player aspiring to enter profession ranks. For players with extraordinary potential our network extends to United States, England, Germany, Holland, Portugal, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and China. Pathfinder supports university bound players with over 200 years of combined experience in college recruitment, direct exposure through tournaments and ID camps. Our students stand out due to their executive function skills, GPAs, strength of curriculum and a unique worldly exposure. We have dedicated college placement agents to work with players pursuing this path.
